Uganda is ranked among the top six countries in Africa in rates of depressive disorders, 2.9% of individuals live with anxiety disorders (WHO, 2017). Of these 5.1% are females and 3.6% are males. Many parents of childbearing age struggle with work/life balance. The struggle affects their performance both in the office and at home. Cleanliness at home is one of the aspects of people’s lives that is usually neglected. And has an impact on the mental health of many individuals as is reported by one study by Indiana University. There is also a lack of technical know-how of offering effective and efficient cleaning services in homes, offices, and institutions.
Nissi classic cleaners Ltd a fast-growing cleaning company that was established in 2015 has been in the realm of helping individuals find work/life balances. It has helped offices focus more on their core objectives without the worry of managing non-core staff.
Since its inception, Nissi Classic Cleaners Ltd has served over 400 individuals and families and over 20 companies with fumigation and pest control services, regular and deep cleaning services, carpets, and upholstery cleaning and disinfection services.
It has offered regular cleaning services to hotels including Hotel Alvers in Mukono.
Nissi also offers training and there is ongoing training for hotel staff engaged in cleaning and equips them with skills for effective and efficient cleaning.
Among the institutions that it has so far served with pest control services are Uganda Martyrs hospital, Lubaga, Seta College school, Kafoc, and Seta Collage school.
It has offered office cleaning services to Uganda heart center, Namulondo investments, Right to Play, Center for the girl child, Finnish Refugee council, Property Consultants, City Tyers, and Malaika Media.
Nissi Classic Cleaners has just signed a 5-year contract with the American embassy to clean their residences. It has also been pre-qualified to offer cleaning services to All in trade.
Background security checks are done on all newly recruited staff. We also ensure that those with an interest in cleaning are recruited.
The technicians are given induction training, onsite training, specific site training, ongoing training, and the use of green cleaning products.

This clutter becomes a home to many vectors including snakes, rats and cockroaches. It takes up space that would have otherwise given the home an opportunity to breathe.
